£384 raised for Comic Relief

On 13 March 2009, the school held an auction  to be a slave or do a dare to raise funds for Comic Relief.  Pupil offers included carrying bags to classes for an entire day, doing S1/S2 class work for an entire day, singing a song at Assembly, wearing pyjamas for a day and staying silent for a day.  Staff offers included creating a senior year book, baking cakes for an entire class, joining a class for a day as a pupil, cleaning up the staff kitchen for one week, organising a pupil trip from start to finish, offering a cookery lesson, painting a portrait, making no attempt at humour for a whole day and being grunged with a bucket of stuff.  An astonishing £384 was raised (approximately £6 per person).
