Kinlochbervie High School Parent Council

Minutes of the Meeting held in the High School on Thursday 30 August 2007

1.         Welcome

Dr Smith welcomed the parents present to the first meeting of Parent Council.

2.         Membership

The Parent Council membership and contact details are as follows.

A representative from Scourie will be sought.  Other parents may wish to join as the membership of the council can be between three and twelve members.  Any interested parents should contact one of the above members.

3.         Office Bearers

The members decided the Parent Council would be as informal as possible and although office bearers were required,  their duties would not be onerous.  The office bearers are as follows.

            Secretary       Marg Meek

            Treasurer       Paula Macleod

4.         Future Meetings

It was decided meetings would be held on Wednesdays at 7.30 pm .  The meetings planned for this session are as follows.  Further dates will be added if required.

            14 November 2007 ;             30 January 2008 ;                 30 April 2008 .

5.         Meeting Minutes

The minutes of each meeting will be displayed in the school and circulated to parents when a school newsletter is sent out.
