The School Board consists of four parents, one co-opted community resident, one teacher and one pupil. There four regular meetings annually (one per term). While only members may participate in the discussions, all members of the school community are welcome to attend the meetings. If people would like more information about the School Board or have a comment to make concerning the issues raised in the minutes of meetings, they should speak to any Board member.
At present Fiona Belbin and Sandra MacFarlane are parent members and Gordon Robinson is the teacher member. The Scottish Executive is currently in the process or replacing School Boards with Parent Forums and Parent Councils. These should be in place by the end of this school year.
